Emily studied directing at the Victorian Collage of the Arts, University of Melbourne, where she devised and directed Floodland (VCA Directors’ Season, 2018). In 2018 she also collaboratively devised and performed in the theatre work Featherstones at the APB festival in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. In 2019 she co-created short film, The Murray Darling Cod (First Commisions, Melbourne University).

She has worked with Liminal Theatre and Performance since 2018 as, variously, co-deviser, assistant director, dramaturg, writer, production and research assistant.
